Oh I want to break free

This is what I looked like after a month in Italy 2 years ago…I can’t wait to get there this summer so I can loose all this weight I put back on.
It was so hot that night that the Cotton Candy I’m holding was melting!

Wow this has been a wicked ride…I’ve managed to stay where I’ve been for the past couple of months. I’ve been working really hard to eat as healthy as possible and workout whenever possible…

I’ve taken to making smoothies for breakfast and sometimes for dinner if I feel I didn’t get enough protein…and it’s been fun experimenting with the different combinations.

Stu Holden from the USMNT taught me how to make smoothies…I love it lol

I’ve also recently learned that even though mentally I feel find…I need to fix my mind setting. My cousin-in-law’s sister gave me a bunch of good tips and they are working for me.

I no longer think “Oh I need to loose weight…I imagine myself and how I am going to feel at my goal weight while reciting “I am at my ideal weight” It lifts me up and makes me feel better” and it’s working.

HIIII!

Can’t believe I’ve been gone for so long, but Sh8t literally hit the fan :( I’m back…and still down almost 4 lbs since I started.

That is actually excellent: you learned something today quite definitively. The gluten-filled food really makes you sick. Now you’ll remember this always and not make yourself sick again. Next time just eat off the cheese, LOL!

Would it have such a fast impact on me? I only stopped eating Gluten like Sunday…It had only been 4 days…my mom doesn’t think so.

I’m also allergic to mold and yeast is a mold…but I’ve never felt the effects of yeast intolerance that quickly.

I have a question…if I were to go back to eating gluten definitively will I always feel sick after eating it…or will there be a time where I’ll get used to it?

Don’t buy “gluten-free” special food. (Anyway as you say, they probly won’t have any.) Just buy real food that has no gluten. Like veggies and fruit and meat and fish and yogurt and cheese and nuts. Like: a salad with no croutons. Or an omelette.

Yeah, I guess I could do that…

My #1 favorite Athlete.
Paolo Maldini, retired soccer player for AC Milan. He was just amazing. He was a one team man, played his whole life at AC Milan. Gave his heart and soul to the team.

Yeah, the body does not like suddenly losing all its tasty carbs. It will take a few days to switch over to burning more fat for fuel, but it’ll happen, never fear.

Unfortunately my mom went out and got pizza tonight :( and so I caved.

The bad thing is that in June I leave for Italy for 3/6 months. I don’t know what I’m going to do because in the town I’m staying in they don’t have anything Gluten-Free…it’s like gulf-coast small Sicilian town. I don’t even think they know what Gluten-Free means.

If they do the price on the stuff is going to be outrageously expensive…so I don’t know whether to stick to it now, and then get off it…or just get off of it now and save myself the headache.
